welcome home armageddon…

So my big trip came to an end on July 1st when i touched down back onto Aussie soil.
50000 less $$ in the bank,
13000+ photos,
367 days,
102 cities,
44 flights,
27 countries,
9 weeks playing in the snow,
8 amazing nights under the dancing northern lights in the arctic,
6 tubes of vegemite,
5 continents,
4hrs of camel riding to sleep under the stars in the sahara,
1 bloody amazing trip!!
I have been home for a few months now, and am actually feeling a little depressed! Its not that i dont love Perth. I just miss not knowing which country or city im going to be in tomorrow, and all the different adventures and interesting people! And as cliche as it is to say, but the trip really did change me a little - for the better i think!
It was the quickest year of my life - but also the greatest. Now its time to go back to work and save up for the next big travels, hopefully next time i’ll learn from past mistakes and not come home! At least not til im ready anyway, i really wasnt ready for it all to end - a quick 2 week visit to say hello and sleep in my own bed is really all that would have been necessary!
